Friday, December 6th at Pee Dee Florence Civic Center 7:30pm
This is the fourth game of the season between the Pride and the Inferno. The Pride is leading the season series 2-1. The Inferno is one point ahead of Pee Dee in second place of the Southeast Division. Pee Dee is in third place with 25 points. ..
Saturday, December 7th at Greenville Bi-Lo Center 7:35pm
The Inferno is 2-1 against the Grrrowl this season. This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams. Greenville is in sixth place with 22 points.
LAST WEEK
Wednesday, November 27th Columbia 1 PEE DEE 3
Two quick goals, within 20 seconds of each other, by the Pee Dee Pride in the third period gave the Pride the win over the Inferno. Barrie Moore scored the only goal for the Inferno in at the 10:18 mark of the third period.
Josh Blackburn made double-digit saves in each period and ended with 32 in defeat. The lose ended the Inferno's perfect record of 6-0-0 at home.
Friday, November 29th COLUMBIA 7 Roanoke 4
The scoring was back and forth as the other team answered each other's goals during the first two periods. Going into the third period, the game was tied at 4. The Inferno dominated the third period with three unanswered goals to capture the win. Justin Morrison came away with two goals and two assists as Chris Pittman recorded one goal and two assists. Others scoring for the Inferno were Barrie Moore, Eric Labelle, Shawn Wansborough and Matt Ulwelling.
Saturday, November 30th COLUMBIA 8 Columbus 2
The Inferno scored five goals in the first period to take a 5-1 lead going into the second. Scoring for the Inferno was Matt Ulwelling, Robin Carruthers, Rejean Stringer, Tim Smith and Justin Morrison. Both teams were scoreless in the second period as Josh Blackburn stopped 15 shots. Shawn Wansborough scored only 35 seconds into the third period and Rejean Stringer finished the scoring off with two goals in the third to give him his second hat trick of the season.
Sunday, December 1st Columbia 3 GREENVILLE 4
The Greenville Grrrowl scored a late third period goal as they defeated the Inferno 4-3. Martin Masa was awarded the game winner at the 12:09 mark of the third. Tim Smith scored the first goal for the Inferno at 14:50 of the first period. Shawn Wansborough scored two goals in the second period for the Inferno.
