Letter from the Inferno Ownership

February 7, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Columbia Inferno News Release

Dear Fans,

Imagine you have a store with expenses, but you must keep the doors locked for 2 years; in a nutshell that's our ECHL voluntary suspension. There is only one reason and one reason only that we would ask the Board of Governors to approve a voluntary suspension, and that would be to pay our dues, complete the financing, and play in our brand new home. It will have all the bells and whistles and is going to be a great place to watch the world's fastest sport (and lots of other events). Perhaps you'll just want to see a few games, or have season tickets in the club section, or share one of the suites for your business. Maybe you'd like to pound on the glass or sit a little higher up behind the net. The time is approaching where we will have frequent relevant updates for our patient fans. Professional hockey will return to the Midlands in the fall of 2010.

See you soon,

Ezra B. Riber
