Columbia Inferno News Release

Columbia advised the Board that construction is scheduled to begin this summer on the Lexington County Events Center and that the Inferno plan to return to the ice for the 2010-11 season. The team has retained the nucleus of its staff and plans to increase its preparation for 2010-11 in October.

Dear Fans,

You might have seen or heard about the above excerpt from the ECHL Board of Governors meeting that I recently attended. Professional hockey will return to the Midlands in the Fall of 2010 in the new events center on St. Andrews Road. It won't be long before we are sending specific information about the building's amenities and seating charts. We are very excited to bring hockey back to the area in a brand new arena.

Thanks for being such great hockey fans, and for your patience!
