Defenseman Bisaillon Recalled to Springfield

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced today the Oilers have recalled defenseman Sebastien Bisaillon (suh-BAS-tee-yen, Bee-SY-yoan) from the Thunder to Springfield.

Bisaillon, 22, has notched four points (1g-3a) in 10 games for the Thunder this season and has skated in 27 games for Springfield, scoring 11 points (4g-7a) from the blueline while notching 19 penalty minutes.

Bisaillon, who signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Edmonton on Sept. 27, 2006, appeared in two regular season games with the Oilers in 2006-07, making his NHL debut on Mar. 19 against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Mont-Laurier, Quebec native has skated in 67 career games with the Thunder, Falcons and Oilers, scoring 31 points (12g-19a) while posting 37 penalty minutes. Bisaillon spent five seasons (2002-07) of his junior hockey career with the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, scoring 189 points (66g-123a) in 263 career games and scored 18 points (4g-14a) in 32 career playoff games.
