Larocque Scores in Second Straight against Bakersfield but Team Falls

April 11, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Stockton Thunder News Release

Bakersfield, Calif. - Stockton Thunder defenseman Mario Larocque continues to find the back of the net in Bakersfield, as he buries his 2nd goal in as many games against the Condors, and Austin Levi scores his first goal since returning from his latest AHL stint, but the Thunder cannot come away with the victory as the Condors defeat the Thunder 6-2 Friday night. Tyler Shattock and Vinny Scarsella each earned an assist on Larocque's goal, extending their respective point streaks to six and five games. Unfortunately, the Thunder could not climb out of the five-goal lead that Bakersfield earned and the Thunder could not earn back-to-back wins over their rival. The Thunder and the Condors will faceoff one last time as ECHL opponents Saturday night at Stockton Arena as the Thunder look to end their final season in Stockton with a win.
