Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Close Regular-Season Schedule Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays wrap up the 2014-15 regular-season tonight on Fan Appreciation Night and The Post and Courier Hall of Fame Night against the Evansville IceMen at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum.

The Post and Courier Stingrays Hall of Fame:

Former Stingrays forward and Dallas Stars (NHL) and Texas Stars (AHL) forward Travis Morin will be inducted into The Post and Courier Stingrays Hall of Fame during the first intermission.

Giveaways Galore:

The Stingrays are giving away thousands of promotional items and the players and staff will toss over 500 t-shirts into the stands immediately after the game for a postgame celebration. The first 1,000 fans receive a 2014-15 Stingrays team photo from Sheila Lauffer of Data Imaging!

Jersey Raffle and Jersey Auction:

Following the contest, the Stingrays will raffle off the navy-game worn jerseys for the Jerseys Off Our Backs Raffle benefiting the Play Today Foundation. The team will also host a live alternate jersey auction on the ice after the game.

Free Parking; Parking Alert Issued:

Tonight's contest features FREE parking! In anticipation of a large crowd, the Coliseum has issued a parking alert and encourages all fans to arrive early and carpool. Additional parking a free shuttle service is available at the North Charleston Fire Museum.

Series Breakdown:

The Stingrays are 2-0-0-0 against the IceMen this season, picking up a 3-2 win at the North Charleston Coliseum on February 15 and a 4-0 victory on March 29 in Evansville, Indiana. All-time, the Stingrays stand 5-2-1-0 against the IceMen.

Jakaitis Earns All-ECHL First Team Selection:

Jakaitis leads the league with six shutouts and a 2.01 goals-against average while ranking second with a .922 save percentage. The Rochester, Minnesota, native set ECHL records this season with a 15-game winning streak, four consecutive shutouts and a 321:46 shutout streak.

Stingrays Close Record-Setting Stretch:

Since February 7, the Stingrays earned a 26-2-0 record.

Playoff Bound:

The Stingrays clinched a berth in the 2015 Kelly Cup Playoffs and will face the Reading Royals in the opening round with home-ice advantage to be determined following tonight's game. Playoff Scenarios
