Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
LAST WEEK: The Pride went 1-1-1 last week to finish up their four-game road trip with a 2-1-1 record. Pee Dee enters this week with an 11-6-3 record for 25 points. They are in third place in the Southeast Division, one point behind second-place Columbia and four in back of first-place South Carolina.
Wednesday, November 27 @ Columbia PRIDE 3 Inferno 1
Pee Dee avenged their 4-1 home loss against Columbia just five days before, handing the Inferno their first loss on home ice this season. After nearly 40 scoreless minutes, Gregor Krajnc gave the Pride the lead with just 1:22 left in the second period. Columbia tied it midway through the final period, but goals by Mike Glumac and Krajnc just 21 seconds apart lifted the Pride to the victory. Matt Underhill was stellar in net, turning aside 33 Inferno shots.
Friday, November 29 @ Florida Everblades 6 PRIDE 0
After a scoreless opening period, Florida opened the flood gates in the second period scoring four times. Kevin Brown scored two goals and added two assists in his Everblades' debut, while Rob Zepp stopped all 33 Pride shots to earn the victory.
Saturday, November 30 @ Florida Everblades 3 PRIDE 2 (SO)
Tom Nelson opened the scoring for Florida at the 10:53 mark of the opening period on a breakaway. But, the Pride would rebound, and goals by Gregor Krajnc and Mike Glumac gave Pee Dee the lead after one period. They held the 2-1 lead until a Kevin Brown power-play goal with 5:55 left in regulation tied it. After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout, and in the seventh round, Alex Zinevych beat Matt Underhill giving Florida the win.

Pride captain Allan Sirois managed just one assist last week, leaving him one point shy of 400 for his ECHL career.
POWER OUTAGE
Pee Dee's power play continues to struggle. In the three games last week, the Pride were scoreless in 15 man-advantage opportunities, and are now 0 for their last 20 in the last five games. Over their last eight games, the Pride are just 2-for-38 (5.2%) on the power play.
REID RETURNS FROM PORTLAND
The Pride's leading scorer, Matt Reid, was sent down by the Portland Pirates of the AHL after playing in two games over the weekend. In the two games, Reid managed one shot on goal and finished with an even rating. Despite missing the Pride's two games in Florida over the weekend, Reid still leads the ECHL in assists with 23 and in plus-minus with a plus-24. He is tied for ninth in the league with 29 points.
PRIDE PLAY THREE IN THREE THIS WEEKEND
For just the second time this season, the Pride play three games in three days this weekend. In their only other three-in-three situation, the Pride went a perfect 3-0-0 (10/31 @ GBO, 11/1 v. AUG, 11/2 @ GRV) outscoring their opposition 13-4.
