Game #17: Thursday, November 28, Cincinnati Cyclones 1 at Peoria Rivermen 3
On Thanksgiving Night, the Rivermen scored twice in the game's final six minutes to pull out a 3-1 win over the visiting Cyclones. Garrett Prosofsky scored the only goal of the game for the Cyclones, while goaltender Greg Hewitt stopped 29 shots in net. The Cyclones fell to 1-3-0 against Peoria this season.
Game #18: Friday, November 29, Cincinnati Cyclones 5 vs. Dayton Bombers 1
Cincinnati blasted the Dayton Bombers 5-1 on Friday at U.S. Bank Arena in kicking off a five-game home streak in style. In front of a season-high crowd of 7,584, the Cyclones got goals from Steve Gallace (2), Mike Casselman (1g, 1a), Pat Rissmiller (1g, 1a), and Ryan Gaucher (1g, 2a). Matt Noga added three assists, while goaltender Marc Kielkucki stopped 27 Dayton shots for his first win in goal since October 19 at Johnstown.
Game #19: Saturday, November 30, Cincinnati Cyclones 6 vs. Peoria Rivermen 5
Cincinnati won its fourth consecutive home game with a come-from-behind 6-5 win over Peoria on Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones got a strong offensive showing from Steve Gallace (2g, 1a), who notched his second consecutive multiple-goal game. Kielkucki came on in relief of starter Greg Hewitt in the third period and finished with 12 saves to get the win. Other goals came from Aaron Brand, Matt Noga (1g, 1a), Ryan Gaucher (GWG), and Pat Rissmiller (1g, 1a). The Cyclones won for the first time this season when trailing after two periods.
The Week Ahead:
Game #20: Wednesday, December 4, Cincinnati Cyclones vs. Johnstown Chiefs
The two clubs will meet for the third time this season. Cincinnati is 2-0-0 against Johnstown with wins in each club's home building. The Cyclones currently trail the Chiefs by a single point for third place in the ECHL's Northwest Division, having played three fewer games.
Game#21: Friday, December 6, Cincinnati Cyclones vs. Trenton Titans
In the first meeting of the season between the clubs, the Cyclones host a Trenton Titans club that is currently tied for fifth place in the Northeast Division standings. Trenton resembles a "tale of two cities" this season. While posting an impressive 8-2-2 mark on their home ice, the club has struggled away from home with an overall record of 2-7-0 on enemy ice.
Game #22: Saturday, December 7, Cincinnati Cyclones vs. Wheeling Nailers
Cincinnati hosts Wheeling in the third meeting of the season between the clubs. The Nailers have won both previous games, with each being played at the Wheeling Civic Center. Wheeling blasted Cincinnati 6-2 on October 13, then used three third-period goals in a span of just 2:14 to win 4-3 over the Cyclones on November 10.
