
Florida's Brown Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - The East Coast Hockey League announced on Monday a series of disciplinary actions against the Jackson Bandits resulting from ECHL Game # 247 against the Mississippi Sea Wolves on November 26.
Jackson coach Derek Clancey has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount; Jackson right wing Dave Stewart has been suspended for four games; Jackson defenseman Sean O'Connor has been suspended for three games, Jackson right wing Nick Theriault has been suspended for two games; Jackson defenseman Tyler Palmer has been suspended for one game; and Jackson goaltender Tyrone Garner has been suspended for one game. Jackson defenseman Mark Thompson, who has subsequently been traded to Augusta, has been fined an undisclosed amount and the Jackson organization has been fined an undisclosed amount.
The ECHL also announced it has fined Mississippi forward Travis Lisabeth an undisclosed amount for his actions during the game.
The suspension and fine to Clancey are a result of the conduct of the Jackson club. Four Jackson players, Stewart, O'Connor, Theriault and Palmer initiated multiple altercations while Garner left his crease to initiate an additional altercation.
Clancey will miss Jackson's game vs. Pensacola (Dec. 6) and vs. Mississippi (Dec. 7). Stewart has already missed Jackson's game at Pensacola (Nov. 29) and vs. Arkansas (Dec. 1), and will miss Jackson's game vs. Pensacola (Dec. 6) and vs. Mississippi (Dec. 7). Theriault has already missed Jackson's game vs. Arkansas (Dec. 1) and he will miss Jackson's game vs. Pensacola (Dec. 6). O'Connor will miss Jackson's game vs. Pensacola (Dec. 6), vs. Mississippi (Dec. 7) and at Arkansas (Dec. 10). Palmer will miss Jackson's game at Arkansas (Dec. 10). Garner will miss Jackson's game vs. Mississippi (Dec. 7).
