
Storm Sign A Pair Of Forwards

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that they have signed forwards John Thomas and Brent Sullivan.
Thomas, the native of Lincoln Park, MI, comes to Toledo after playing one game with the Findlay Freedom of the North Eastern Hockey League. John had a goal and an assist in that contest. He also played 5 games earlier this year with the Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey league with 1 goal and 8 penalty minutes. Thomas played his college hockey at the University of Nebraska Omaha where he appeared in 67 games with 5 goals and 7 assists.
Sullivan joins with extensive experience in the UHL. Over the past 4 seasons, Brent has seen time with four different UHL teams with the majority spent with the Flint Generals. The Algonac, MI inhabitant also skated for 7 games during the 2001-02 campaign with the ECHL's Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. His professional totals are: 237 games played, 30 goals, 51 assists, and 349 penalty minutes.
