Beaumont, TX - The Pensacola Ice Pilots continue a stretch of five straight games on the road when they take on the Texas Wildcatters in the first of three at Ford Arena beginning tonight (Friday) at 7:30 pm central.
The Ice Pilots will welcome three new faces to the line-up this evening from the Cincinnati Cyclones as part of a trade made earlier in the week. Forwards Torry Gajda (pronounced Guy-da), and Erik Johnson as well as defenseman Jarred Mohr all skated yesterday in practice in Pensacola, and in the pre-game skate this morning in Texas.
Forward Dwayne Hay did not make the trip to Texas and will not play this weekend. Hay is still recovering from injury.
Fans can tune into the game on Classic Country AM1620 beginning with Ice Pilots Countdown to Face-off at 7:15 pm. The play-by-play follows with Denis J. Puska at 7:30 pm. The game is also available at www.icepilots.com powered by Sportsjuice. Video coverage is provided by the B2 Networks and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.
The Pensacola Ice Pilots return to The Hangar on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when they host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 pm. It's Two for Tuesday and when fans purchase one regularly priced ticket, they will receive a second one free.
