SLAP SHOTS
~Utah is on a hot streak at home, winning 7 of their last 8 home games.
~David Gosselin almost doubled his points total from 5 to 9 this past week, recording 1 goal and 3 assists (2 goals, 7 assists on the season). Prior to the month of December, Gosselin had only a total of 2 points on the season.
~Jason Bacashihua stopped 30 shots in the Grizzlies 2-0 victory over San Antonio on Friday and is 4-0 in has last 4 games. Friday was his first shut out of his professional career and improved his record to 7-5-0.
~Eric Landry has scored 4 goals and registered 2 assists in the last 6 games giving him 21 points on the season, second on team behind Jim Montgomery who has 24 points.
~Greg Hawgood has been giving a helping hand as of late. The veteran Defenseman dished the puck 5 times in the last 6 games for a total of 5 assists in the month.
~Jeff MacMillan is one goal shy of last year's total of six.
~Utah lost both Jon Sim and Steve Ott to recalls to Dallas
~The Grizzlies summoned forwards Marc-Andre Thinel and Fraser Clair from Lexington (ECHL)
~John Erskine continues to lead the league with 167 PIM's

1. Jason Bacashihua- Grabbed his first professional career shut out, stopping 30 shots in a 2-0 victory over San Antonio. Jason also went 2-0 in his two starts.
2. Eric Landry- Scored three goals and had two assists in a 3-0 week.
3. David Gosselin- Tallied 4 points in 3 games, 1 goal and 3 assists.
