Ice Pilots Play Home This Tuesday and Friday Night

Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release


The Ice Pilots lost vs. Mississippi on Thursday night 4-1 at "The Hangar." Gaetan Royer scored the only goal of the game for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots lost at Jackson on Friday night 5-2. Greg Pankewicz and Josh Harrold scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots won at home on Saturday night 4-3 vs. Arkansas. Greg Pankewicz scored two goals for the Ice Pilots. Gaetan Royer and Gregor Baumgartner also scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Maxime Gingras was the winning goalie.

NEXT HOME GAMES THIS TUESDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY NIGHT
The Ice Pilots will play home on Tuesday night vs. Louisiana at 6:05 p.m. and play home on Friday night vs. Florida at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 1-1 vs. Louisiana this season and it will be the first meeting of the year between the Ice Pilots and Florida on Friday night.

PROMOTIONS FOR TUESDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT
The Ice Pilots play Louisiana on Tuesday in a Business Person Special 6:05 p.m. face-off. Fans who bring their business card to the game will receive $2 off two tickets and if they bring their business card to the office before the game will receive $3 off. The Blue Angels will be signing autographs before the game on Friday night and the first 4,000 fans will receive Stadium Cups sponsored by Sun Trust Bank.

ICE PILOTS PLAY AT FLORIDA ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
The Ice Pilots will play at Florida on Saturday and Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. central time.

ICE PILOTS IN THE COMMUNITY THIS WEEK
The Ice Pilots will visit Nemours Childrens Clinic on Monday at 1 p.m.and will visit Sacred Heart Children's Hospital on Thursday at 1 p.m. The Ice Pilots will be visiting the Boy Scouts troop on Pensacola Beach on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. If your organization would like to have an Ice Pilots players at your next function call the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825. Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center Box Office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. Individual game tickets cost $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for goals and lower upper and $10 for upper level tickets. Season tickets are available for the full season, 16 game plan, 8 game plan and flex package. Season tickets make great Christmas Gifts. Group Tickets
Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receives two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out an MVP card, (cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).

Birthday Party's
Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hotdogs, cokes, cupcakes, 10 game tickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. Ice Pilots top scorers
Center Louis Dumont is the top scorer for the Ice Pilots with 26 points and leads the team with 19 assists. Greg Pankewicz is the top goal scorer on the team with 18 goals. Jeremy Van Hoof leads the team with a +15 rating. The Ice Pilots are se! cond in the league in penalty killing with a 87.8% rating.

Gingras among the top goalies in the league
Maxime Gingras begins the week among the leading goaltenders in the league in several categories. Gingras is fourth in the league with a .929 save percentage, second in the league with a 2.36 goals against average, and fourth in the league with 655 saves and 1272 penalty minutes.

Player of the week nominees
Forward Greg Pankewicz has been nominated for player of the week and Maxime Gingras has been nominated for goalie of the week.

Practice Schedule for week
The Ice Pilots will practice Monday at 10 a.m. and have a pre skate on Tuesday at 10 a.m. and play home to Louisiana on Tuesday night at 6:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will practice Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. and have a pre skate on Friday at 10 a.m. and play home to Florida on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will leave after the game on Friday and play at Florida on Saturday and Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. central time.

Columbus Game Time Changes
The Ice Pilots games at Columbus has been changed. The new starting time for the games on Saturday, December 28th, Tuesday, January 14th and Saturday, March 29th is 6:30 p.m. central time.

Assigned Players from Tampa Bay, Springfield and Grand Rapids
The Ice Pilots have four assigned pro players from Tampa Bay of the NHL. They are defensemen Jeremy Van Hoof, Marek Priechodsky, Harlan Pratt and goalie Brian Eklund. Forward Chris Gignac, defenseman Brad Dexter and goalie Maxime Gingras are assigned from Springfield of the AHL. Gregor Baumgartner is assigned from Grand Rapids of the AHL.

The Ice Pilots Coach's Radio show is at Sal's Pizza Pub and Grill this season located at 620 E. Nine Mile Road. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on WCOA AM 1370 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue.
