
Fraser to Respresent Rays in Boise

N. Charleston, S.C. - The ECHL announced today that rookie defenseman Jamie Fraser will represent the Stingrays at the 2007 RBK Hockey ECHL All-Star Game in Boise, ID on January 17th.
Fraser leads the Stingrays and is first in the ECHL among defenseman with 28 points on five goals and 23 assists. He recently returned to the Stingrays from a call-up with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL.
The Sarnia, Ontario native was named the CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month in November. He joined the Rays in time for the playoffs last season after spending his junior career with the Sarnia Sting and the Brampton Battalion.
"I am very excited about the opportunity to represent the Stingrays in Boise," commented Fraser.
"Jamie certainly deserves this nomination," added Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons. "He has already established himself as one of the top young defenseman in our league."
The Stingrays take to the road for games on Friday and Saturday at 7:35 p.m. against the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.
