Phoenix RoadRunners News Release
PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have traded forward Dan Baum to the Florida Everblades in exchange for future considerations.
Baum, 23, tallied one goal, two assists, and 27 penalty minutes in 11 games with the RoadRunners since being acquired from Dayton on Nov. 20. The Biggar, Saskatchewan native has two goals, three assists, and 35 penalty minutes in 18 games this season.
"Dan was a valuable teammate in the locker room and someone who led by example through his strong work ethic," said RoadRunners Head Coach Ron Filion. "Unfortunately, with the glut of forwards on the roster, we had to move someone to create space and Dan was the likely candidate. Florida is getting a very good hockey player and we wish Dan nothing but continued success in his professional career."
Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. tonight as they welcome back the Victoria Salmon Kings. It's another "Thirsty Throwback Thursday" presented by Alice Cooper'stown. Head to Cooper'stown following the game, present your RoadRunners' game ticket, collect your special "Thirsty Thursday" cup, and enjoy $2 Budweiser and Bud Light drafts and free soda for the rest of the evening. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season start as low $7 in the lower section and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
