LAST GAME : The Salmon Kings faced the Falcons at the Save Mart Center for day three of a three-day California trip. It was a neutral zone battle in the first period until Fresno's Josh Prudden finished a 2-on-1 strike for the lead.
Victoria countered in the second period as F.P. Guenette snuck one by Netminder Dmitri Patzold during a Salmon Kings powerplay. With 6:08 remaining in the third period, Defenseman Pierre-Olivier Beaulieu gave Fresno the 2-1 advantage with a wraparound goal, and nearing the end of the match, John Morlang added an open net goal for the Fresno guarantee.

POIGNANT POWERPLAY : The Salmon Kings lead the ECHL in powerplay percentage on the road, having scored 16 times in 72 opportunities (22.2%)....have scored on the powerplay at least once in the last six games...in their last two-game series on the road (@ Utah, Nov 24 and 25) the Salmon Kings scored a total five times out of 15 opportunities with the man advantage....rank eighth in the ECHL for powerplay overall.
