
Laliberte selected to play in 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game

TRENTON, NJ (December 21, 2006) - The ECHL announced that forward John Laliberte has been selected to the American Conference All-Star Team at the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game on January 17 at the Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Signed to a PTO by the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL) on November 30, Laliberte was the Titans' leading scorer at the time of his departure with 10 goals and seven assists in 13 games.
A 6-2, 190-pound rookie out of Saco, ME, Laliberte skated for four years at Boston University (2003-2006). He compiled 89 points (33g, 56a) and 105 penalty minutes in 134 contests while ranking in the top three in team scoring both his junior and senior seasons.
Originally a fourth round draft pick (#114 overall) of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Laliberte participated in training camp with the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) before joining Trenton at the start of the 2006-07 season.
Laliberte becomes the thirteenth player from the Trenton Titans to be chosen for the ECHL All-Star Game joining Bujar Amidovski (2000), Scott Bertoli (2001 & 2006), Chris Houle (2004), Pat Leahy (2002), Matt Libby (2002), Cail MacLean (2001), Mark Murphy (2000), Brent Robinson (2005), Ben Stafford (2002), Scott Stirling (2001), Dustin Wood (2003) and Stephen Wood (2005).
The 15th Annual ECHL All-Star Game will be at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 17 and the 10th Annual ECHL All-Star Skills Competition will be at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 16.
