Dusters Announce Free-Agent Tryout Camps
December 29, 2004 - Eastern Basketball Development League () News Release
The Amarillo Dusters have set the dates for the 2005 Free-Agent Tryout Camps. The first camp will be held in Amarillo on Sunday, January 23rd at the Kids Inc. Sportsplex, which is the Official Training Camp Home of the Amarillo Dusters. The second camp will be held on Sunday, February 20th, also at the Kids Inc. Sportsplex.
"Tryout camps are so vital to the success of teams at this level" said Dusters Director of Football Operations Warren McCarty. "Last year, Ray Taupule, Craig Fulton, Jimmy Gaston, Eric Mims, Kory Jones, Jeremiah Parker, Mark Jones, Zach Cresap, Raymond Hemsley, and Jason Walker were all signed to our training camp roster after coming to the tryout. That's ten very solid players that we found through the workout system. Craig Fulton even worked out twice for us, and ended up being our leading tackler. We expect to sign at least that many or more from this year's tryout camps."
