
Stampede host SunKings Thursday night

Boise, ID (December 29, 2004) â The Idaho Stampede (9-8, 59 quarter points) host the Yakima SunKings (3-11, 35.5 quarter points) on Thursday night at the Idaho Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., tip off is at 7:10 p.m.
The Stampede will be playing its 5th game in 8 days, while Yakima rolls into the Treasure Valley on seven days of rest. Idaho is coming off a three-game road trip, which started with an impressive 30-point win over Sioux Falls. The team's last two games, however, were back-to-back losses to league-leading Dakota.
Halftime Dog Act: The tail-wagging fun starts at halftime with the Frisbee-catching antics of "Team Zulu." This halftime show features four energetic and well-trained dogs that will wow the audience with their disc gathering skills.
Clancy Honored: Earlier this week, Stampede forward Sam Clancy was named as the CBA Western Conference Player of the Week. He posted 21.0 points and 16.5 rebounds per game in addition to 3.0 blocks, 2.0 steals, and one assist per contest. Clancy shot 55.0 percent (12 of 22) from the floor, and 95.0 percent (18 of 19) from the free-throw line for the week. On the season, Clancy ranks 4th in the League in rebounding with 9.9 per game, and ranks 2nd in blocked shots with 2.0 per contest.
Radio Broadcast: All games, home and away, are broadcast on KFXD 630 AM. Veteran play-by-play announcer Scott Johnson calls home games.
