Today's Game: The San Antonio Rampage conclude a four-game road trip against the Chicago Wolves tonight in their second game back after completing a six-game in seven-night stint (which ended on Dec. 23) before the holiday break... The Rampage, who play a 16-game month in December, sit 5th in the West Division with a 12-15-2-4 record (30 pts.), tied for 10th in the Western Conference standings... The Rampage are 6-9-1-2 on the road this season after snapping a four-game losing streak in Milwaukee on Monday... With the win in Milwaukee, the Rampage erased a three-game losing streak... December is one of two 16-game months (January is the other) for the Rampage, marking the highest monthly totals... Following tonight's game, the Rampage return to the SBC Center to close out 2004 and ring in the New Year with a two-game series against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks beginning New Year's Eve.
Against Chicago Wolves: The Rampage travel to the Allstate Arena for the third of five times this season as they play their sixth game (of 10 meetings) against the Atlanta Thrashers affiliate on the year... The Rampage have been shut out the last two meetings and are 0-4-0-1 on the year against Chicago... The last time the Rampage defeated Chicago was Feb. 4, 2004 at Allstate Arena... The Rampage have been outscored 22-5 so far this season with the same number of shots (153) after five meetings.
