Toronto Marlies News Release
SOUTHAVEN---The Memphis RiverKings announced today that goalie J.F Racine has been recalled by the St. John's Maple Leafs of the A.H.L. This is the second time that Racine has been recalled since his original reassignment to Memphis on November 24. "It is unclear how long they will need him or when he will be back" Memphis Head Coach Mark Richards said. "The Maple Leafs have had some injury issues with their two net-minders and they are in need of J.F.'s services." In eight games with the RiverKings, Racine is 4-4 with a goals-against average of 3.86. During his time at St. John's this season, the fourth year pro has played in six games, going 4-2 with a 2.91 G.A.A.
Roster-wise, the RiverKings will have David Lemanowicz and Daniel Boisclair as their goal-tenders entering the weekend. Lemanowicz was activated off the 14-day I-R on Tuesday.
Memphis will be back home for the first time since December 5 tomorrow night as they host the Oklahoma City Blazers in a 7:05 game at the DeSoto Civic Center. You can hear the game live on Sports 56 WHBQ, AM 560
