East Division clash looms as Binghamton visits tonight
December 29, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release
Jason Spezza and the Binghamton Senators visit GIANT Center tonight as HERSHEY tries for four wins in the last five games after a 5-0 win over Norfolk Sunday.
Binghamton comes to town on a roll tonight. The Senators have won four straight games, having outscored its opponents 18-6 in the last three games. Spezza has 45 points already this season, which is just two points off the American Hockey League lead. The Senators are in second place in the East Division entering play tonight.
HERSHEY looks for a fourth win in five games after a 50 save shutout by Peter Budaj Sunday in a 5-0 win over the Norfolk Admirals. A win tonight would clinch a winning record for the month of December and even the season series with the Senators at a game apiece with four games remaining. The BEARS lost at Binghamton 3-2 back on October 22.
Tickets for tonight's game and Friday's New Year's Eve game against the Philadelphia Phantoms are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 534-3911.
