
Bruins begin long road swing

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins begin the week tied for third place in the Atlantic Division, with their 16-10-2-5 record (39 points). Head coach Scott Gordon's club has taken points in 10 straight games, posting a 7-0-0-3 mark over that span. The Black and Gold has taken 17 of the last 20 possible points, and has not lost in regulation since a 2-0 setback in Manchester on December 4. The Bruins play their next six games on the road, beginning on Thursday, December 30, when they take on the Springfield Falcons at 7:00 p.m. They will play in Portland on New Year's Eve at 5:35 p.m., and in Manchester on New Year's Day at 7:35 p.m. All games can be heard live on WDDZ AM-550 and online at www.providencebruins.com.
The Bruins return home to host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday, January 14 at 7:05 p.m. and the Worcester IceCats on Sunday, January 16 at 4:05 p.m. Sunday's game will be televised live on COX Sports Television.
The Providence Bruins will be hosting their third post-game autograph session of the season on Sunday, January 23, following the Bruins-Portland Pirates game at 4:05 p.m. Bruin goaltender Hannu Toivonen and defenseman Milan Jurcina will be signing autographs on the Dunkin' Donuts Center concourse behind Section 110. The autograph session is free of charge.
The Providence Bruins announced today the remaining dates for the ninth season of the highly successful "Tip-A-Bruin" campaign. The events will be held at Dave & Buster's in the Providence Place Mall, with Bruin players helping the waitstaff, selling raffle tickets for autographed Bruins souvenirs and selling discounted game tickets. All proceeds are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island.
