Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ (December 29, 2004) –The Trenton Titans today announced that have agreed to terms with free agent defenseman Brian Sullivan for the remainder of the 2004-05 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Brian's a good two-way defenseman that can move the puck," said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Mike Haviland. "He's going to help solidify and improve our backline."

Sullivan, 24, comes to the Titans after being recalled from the Florida Everblades by the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League. The rookie defenseman appeared in 20 games for the Everblades this season, recording 2 goals and 5 penalty minutes.

A native of Marshfield Massachusetts, Sullivan skated for three seasons with Northeastern University before transferring to the University of Massachusetts-Boston for his final year of eligibility. Sullivan led the both Beacons and ECAC East defensemen in scoring his senior year with 32 points (8g, 24a) in 26 games.

In a separate transaction, goaltender Andrew Allen has been placed on the 7-day IR. The fourth-year goaltender has gone 9-3-1 this season with a 2.36 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
