Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Bakersfield, CA â The Las Vegas Wranglers (11-12-4, 26 points) were defeated 4-2 by the Bakersfield Condors (16-7-4, 36 points) in Bakersfield on Tuesday night. Bakersfield's Lars Pader Nagel scored a goal and added an assist in the win. Las Vegas defenseman Christian Chartier scored twice for the Wranglers in the loss. The Wranglers out shot the Condors 15-11 in the first period, largely due to four power plays in the first period.
In the second period, Bakersfield doubled their lead with a power-play goal by Vlad Serov at 12:14. Nagel worked the puck down in front of the net with a cross-ice pass to Serov who finished on the far post for his sixth goal of the season.
In the third period, Dennis Shiryaev extended the Bakersfield lead to 3-0 with a power-play goal at 4:26 of the third period. Las Vegas countered to get within one as defenseman Christian Chartier scored twice in the second period to pull Las Vegas to a 3-2 deficit. The Condors Kevin St. Jacques sealed the win with an empty-net goal at 19:12 for the 4-2 final.
