Riley Gostisha has accepted the position of Director of Corporate Sales for the Beloit Snappers. Gostisha is entering his first season working in the Midwest League. Previously Gostisha had served as Assistant General Manager for the Alexandria Beetles of the Northwood's League from 2003-2004. A 2002 Graduate from High Point University, NC where he majored in Sports Management, Gostisha is, "Extremely excited to be here and to be part of the Beloit Snappers Organization." Gostisha continued, "I am looking forward to the challenges that are ahead and to being part of a successful season in 2005. Gostisha is originally from Oconto Falls, Wisconsin and married his wife Laura in September of 2002.
With the addition of Gostisha to the staff General Manager Jeff Vohs has filled the final position in the front office staff for the 2005 season. "I believe that Riley will help us continue the successful tradition of Snappers Baseball," said Vohs. "Our staff is energetic, enthusiastic and hard working and I feel that Riley carries these same traits."
The Snappers are set to open the season April 7th, 2005 at Pohlman Field, when the Swing of the Quad Cities visit Beloit. First pitch is set for 6:30pm. For additional information contact the Snappers at (608) 362-2272.
