Wall Shuts Out Spokane In Front of a Sold Out Crowd

Tonight in front of 8,276 fans at the Everett Events Center the Everett Silvertips shut out the Spokane Chiefs 2-0. This is the Silvertips' first win in 6 games.

Putting one in the net first for the Silvertips was Alex Leavitt, earning his 6th goal on the year. Helping him out were Assistant Captains Torrie Wheat and Shaun Heshka. Tallying the second goal was rookie Karel Hromas, earning his 10th on the year, with Alex Leavitt also adding an assist during the game.

In between the pipes for Everett was Michael Wall. Wall stopped all 34 Spokane shots to earn his 6th shut out on the year.

On the power play Everett went 1 for 6 while Spokane went 0 for 2. The Chiefs out shot the Silvertips by a margin of 34-24.

The Silvertips are back in action tomorrow night, Wednesday December 29th, at the Key Arena where they will face off against their I-5 rivals, the Seattle Thunderbirds. Game time is set for 7:05 pm. These two teams will meet again on New Years Day at the Everett Events Center at 7:05pm.
