CONDORS GET REVENGE

A week after losing to the Gulls 4-1 on home ice, despite putting up nearly 50 shots on goal, the Condors traveled to San Diego to beat the Gulls 7-1 Sunday evening. Six different Condors scored goals, including Jason Ralph, who had both the first and last goals of the game. Jon Sorg, Shawn Byram, Christian Skoryna, Paul Willett and Denis Ladouceur also tallied for Bakersfield, who pulled to 2-2 on the season. Ladouceur was placed on Injured Reserve on October 11th, and was playing in his first game as a professional. Kevin St. Pierre turned aside 35 shots for the win. Five different players had multi-point games for Bakersfield, and the Condors went 2-for-4 on the power play to end a 1-for-19 skid. The Condors chased Gulls netminder Trevor Koenig from the net, after he allowed four goals on 12 shots through 27 minutes.
