LAST WEEK: The Pride went 1-2-0 on their first road trip of the season, losing 5-4 at Columbus at 4-3 at Florida before rebounding with a 4-3 shootout win at Florida on Saturday. Pee Dee enters this week with a 4-2-1 record for 9 points, and is in third place in the Southeast Division, three points behind co-leaders South Carolina and Columbia.
Tuesday, October 22 @ Columbus Cottonmouths 5 PRIDE 4
The Pride's first road game of the season was all about power plays as the two teams combined for 23 opportunities on the man advantage. Despite holding a 3-2 lead late in the second period, the Pride could not hold on. Columbus' Jay Vancik scored with just 1:34 left in the second, and Darren McAusland and J. J. Hunter scored 1:09 apart in the third to make it 5-3. Wes Goldie made it 5-4 with 4:08 left, but the Pride could not get the equalizer.
Friday, October 25 @ Florida Everblades 4 PRIDE 3
Pee Dee dropped their second straight game, as the Everblades prevailed at TECO Arena. The teams entered the third period tied at 3, but Tom Buckley scored on a rebound 5:21 into the final period to set the final. Preston Mizzi led the way for the Pride with a pair of goals.
Saturday, October 26 @ Florida PRIDE 4 Everblades 3 (SO)
The Pride salvaged a game on the road trip beating Florida in a shootout. Pee Dee led 3-2 late in the third, but Florida's Brent McDonald scored with just 47 seconds left to send the game to overtime. After a scoreless OT period, the teams went to the shootout. It went 10 rounds, but the Pride prevailed when Daniel Carriere scored, and Ron Vogel stopped Brian Goudie.

Thursday, October 31 @ Greensboro 8:00 p.m. Coverage on Sunny 105.5 at 7:40
The Pride's four-game road trip comes to an end at Greensboro. This is the first of four meetings this year between the two teams. Last season, Pee Dee was 2-0-1 against the Generals, and all time is 10-0-1. Greensboro enters the week 3-2-2 for 8 points, and is tied for fourth place in the Northeast Division.
Friday, November 1 v. Augusta 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den
The Pride return home to take on the Lynx for the first of nine times on the season. Last year, the Pride went 7-1-1 against Augusta, and all time against the Lynx, the Pride hold a 20-7-2 record. Augusta has dropped three straight games entering the week and has a 3-5-0 record for 6 points. They are in seventh place in the division.
PROMOTIONS: Game Show Fridays continue at the Lion's Den, with "Let's Make a Deal" taking place during the first intermission.

It's right back on the road for the Pride as they head to the BI LO Center for the first meeting between the teams since the Grrrowl eliminated the Pride in last year's Southeast Division Finals. This is the first of eight meetings between the two teams this year. Greenville has a 3-2-2 record for 8 points, and they are in fourth place of the Southeast Division, just one point behind the Pride.
OTHER NOTES
10 ROUND KNOCKOUT
Saturday's shootout at Florida was more like a heavyweight title bout, as the Pride and Everblades went at it for 10 rounds. Both teams scored twice in the opening five shots. Florida had five chances to win the shootout, in rounds five through nine, but Pride goaltender Ron Vogel came up with saves on all five of the attempts. In the 10th round, Daniel Carriere beat Everblades' goaltender Rob Zepp, and Vogel stopped former Pride captain Brian Goudie giving the Pride the victory.
GLUMAC CONTINUES TO SHINE
Rookie forward Mike Glumac continues his impressive start to the season. The Miami of Ohio product tallied points in all three games last week, raising his overall numbers to six goals and four assists for 10 points in just seven games. Glumac leads all ECHL rookies with his six goals, while his 10 points are second best in the league, just one point behind the league leader.
