Titans Look Top Bounce Back As They Open A Three-Game Home Stand:
The Trenton Titans (5-2-1) dropped a pair of road contests in Atlantic City and Reading last weekend. This week, they open a three-game home stand with the Wheeling Nailers (3-6-0) first visit to Trenton on Wednesday night. On Friday night the Titans host the Richmond Renegades (4-5-0) for the third of nine meetings this season. The Titans are 2-0 against the Renegades outscoring them 9-4 in the two contests. On Saturday night it's the fifth meeting against the Reading Royals. The Titans are 3-1 against the Royals, but dropped the last meeting 4-1 in Reading on Saturday night.
Davyduke Steady Play Continues:
Rookie center Kent Davyduke notched a power play goal on Friday night in Atlantic City and assisted on the lone Titans' goal in Reading on Saturday night. He now has registered a point in seven of the Titans' eight games this season, and his eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) rank him tied for third on the Titans and in the ECHL in rookie scoring. His four goals are tied for second on the team, and third among first-year ECHL players. Davyduke also scored the game-winning goal on October 20th in the Titans' 4-2 win vs. Reading.
Bertoli Keeps Hot Start Going:
All-Star Left Wing Scott Bertoli has at least one point in seven of the eight games this season. He notched an assist on Friday night before going pointless in Reading on Saturday night. Overall, he has 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) this season.
Streaking Titans:
Kent Davyduke has a three-game point streak (2 goals, 1 assist)
Titans After Hours Fan Hotline Up and Running:
The Titans have set up an after hours Fan Hotline. Fans can now call the Titans' office (609) 599-9500 and press â4' to be directed to a message, which gives information of the last Titans' contest and previews of the upcoming games. It is available to fans after 5:30 pm, seven days a week.
