'Blades shuffle roster

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that defenseman Chris Dyment has been activated from the 3-day injured reserve list and that forwards Jon Lehun and Derek Damon have been placed on the IR. As per team policy the injuries were not disclosed.

Dyment returns to the lineup after missing the past three games. The 27-year-old suffered the injury in Florida's 5-1 win over the Columbia Inferno on November 22. The native of Reading, Massachusetts has two goals and 12 PIM in 10 games with the Everblades this season. The former 4th round draft pick by the Montreal Canadians in 1999 began the season with Albany of the AHL where he skated in six games and totaled four PIM. Overall Dyment has played in 172 career games, scoring 27 points (12g, 15a) dating back to 2002-03.

Lehun, 22, was placed on the 3-day IR after sustaining an injury in Florida's 6-5 loss to Texas on Tuesday. The native of Toronto, Ontario has tallied 15 points (8g, 7a) in 15 games with the Everblades this season. His goal total currently leads the Everblades. The second-year pro has 46 points (19g, 27a) in 52 career games.

Damon, 26, was added to the 30-day IR after also suffering an injury in the Everblades loss on Tuesday. The rookie has notched four goals and nine assists in 17 games this season. The native of Bangor, Maine made his professional debut last season while playing in three games with the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League after completing a four-year career at the University of Maine where he picked up 111 points in 159 career games.
