
Chiefs sink Titans in shootout

Johnstown, Pa. (December 1, 2006) - The Johnstown Chiefs defeated the Trenton Titans in a shootout by a score of 4-3 at the Cambria County War Memorial.
Trenton got on the board first when Mike Pandolfo scored his first of the game at 15:51 of the first period when he one-timed Gregg Johnson's pass past Chiefs goaltender Gerald Coleman. Pandolfo would make it 2-0 at 8:22 of the second period, putting a rebound past Coleman.
Maxime Boisclair would make it 2-1 at 9:21 fo the second, banging home a pass from Eric Przepiorka to draw the Chiefs within one.
Pandolfo would complete his hat-trick at 7:05 of the third period, scoring on a pass from Gregg Johnson.
Radek Smolenak cut the Trenton lead to one when he picked off an errant pass from James Pemberton and shot the puck past Trenton goaltender Gregg Naumenko. Randy Rowe would tie it for the Chiefs at the 15:50 mark of the third period, taking a feed from Boisclair and beating Naumenko along the ice.
The game would remain scoreless through overtime. Gus Katsuras scored on his shootout attempt, and Gerald Coleman stopped all five shootout attempts he faced to give the Chiefs the win.
