Key game: 4-3 Shootout win on February 25, 2006. With that win, the Salmon Kings earned three of a possible four points from the Conference-leading Aces. Ryan Wade scored the game winning goal in the Shootout.

LAST GAME:

Victoria outscored Alaska in the third period, but could not recover from the deficit as the Aces raided the fridge of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. In their third powerplay of the game, the Aces took a 1-0 lead at 9:58 into the first and followed with a second goal with 31 seconds remaining in the period. Alaska added four goals in the second period-two consecutive goals from Joe Talbot (who is currently listed on the 30-day IR). Bryan Bridges replaced starting Goaltender Julien Ellis in the final period, and Kiel McLeod scored the lone Victoria goal while on the powerplay. 6-1 Aces
