
Storm Add PJ Martin

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that they signed defenseman P.J. Martin to a contract.
Martin, the native of Haverhill, MA, is expected to make his return to a Storm uniform Saturday night in Trenton. Over the previous 2 seasons, PJ has appeared in 88 Storm contests scoring 11 goals, while adding 27 assists. Last season, Martin started the year as Captain of the Storm prior to playing in 11 games with Lowell in the American Hockey League. PJ has played in 170 games since turning professional in 2003-04 with Trenton.
After a week of practice, the Storm will travel out east for three games in
three nights beginning against a pair of North Division rivals. Tonight,
Toledo will battle the Reading Royals then travel to Trenton to take on the
Titans for Saturday and Sunday games at Sovereign Bank Arena. The Storm
will return to Toledo Sports Arena on December 9th, when they will welcome
in the Wheeling Nailers at 7:35pm. Great tickets for the game are still
