Hayes Homers in Third Straight to Match Spikes Record in 6-4 Win over IronBirds
July 10, 2026 - ABERDEEN, Md. - Nyan Hayes became just the third State College Spikes player ever to homer in three consecutive games with a long ball to start the game, and the Spikes stayed unbeaten in the second half with a 6-4 victory over the Aberdeen IronBirds on Friday night at IBEW Local 24 Union Field at Ripken Stadium.

July 10, 2026 - The Oklahoma City Comets kept the bats rolling in a 10-5 victory against the El Paso Chihuahuas Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Oklahoma City (9-7/50-40) took a quick lead in the first inning, scoring three runs on doubles from Austin Gauthier and Jack Suwinski. El Paso (6-10/41-50) got a run back in the second inning on a solo homer from Nick Pratto. July 10, 2026 - Norfolk, VA - After a nearly three-hour rain delay pushed the start time, the Syracuse Mets labored and rallied past the Norfolk Tides for a 3-2 victory in seven innings on Friday night at Harbor Park.
Norfolk (4-11, 32-58) struck first in the bottom of the fourth inning. Heston Kjerstad doubled and came home on an RBI double by Christian Encarnacion-Strand. Encarnacion-Strand later scored on a wild pitch, giving the Tides a 2-0 lead.
