July 26, 2024 - WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The State College Spikes used a five-run flurry in the fifth to bolster a solid start from Jackie Robinson, but the Williamsport Crosscutters scored three runs in the eighth to take a 7-6 decision on Friday night at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Robinson overcame a tough first inning in which he allowed three runs to retire 11 of the next 13 batters he faced. Milledge Hired as Hitting Coach

July 26, 2024 - The State College Spikes added Lastings Milledge as hitting coach today. Milledge comes to Happy Valley after playing professionally for over a decade, including six seasons in MLB with the New York Mets, Washington Nationals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox. The Bradenton, Fla. native was taken 12th overall by the Mets in the 2003 MLB Draft, then became the youngest player in Major League Baseball when he debuted in New York at the age of 21 in 2006. July 25, 2024 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Cooper Hext gave the State College Spikes their first lead with a 413-foot solo homer and produced four runs batted in as the Spikes outslugged the Frederick Keys, 14-7, to clinch a three-game series sweep on Thursday afternoon at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Penn Stater Spiegel Sparks Spikes' Late Rally to Defeat Keys, 8-7

July 24, 2024 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Josh Spiegel called Medlar Field at Lubrano Park home for three years while playing baseball at Penn State, and he came up huge with a game-tying homer in the bottom of the eighth before Austin Baal's go-ahead double gave the State College Spikes an 8-7 win over the Frederick Keys.
