August 6, 2025 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Facing bases loaded and no outs in the MLB Draft League Overtime tiebreaker, Jason Shockley struck out the next three Mahoning Valley Scrappers in order, giving the State College Spikes a win in the extra frame after a 2-2 regulation tie at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Wednesday night. Quevedo Ties Spikes Record with 12 Strikeouts in 5-1 Win over Keys

August 5, 2025 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Michael Quevedo became the third pitcher in State College Spikes history to record 12 strikeouts in a single game as he led the Spikes to a two-game series sweep over the Frederick Keys with a 5-1 victory on Tuesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Sparks Leads the Way as Spikes Blank Keys, 4-0, to Start Homestand

August 4, 2025 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Led by Alec Sparks' six strong innings, the State College Spikes held the Frederick Keys to six hits in a 4-0 shutout win on Monday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Sparks (1-0) allowed four hits and three walks but pitched his way out of trouble at every turn to record his first victory with the Spikes (8-10 2nd Half). Holjes Strong in Start, Spikes Fall to Black Bears Late, 3-2

August 3, 2025 - GRANVILLE, W. Va. - Carter Holjes allowed just one run over five innings in his first start of the season for the State College Spikes, but the West Virginia Black Bears snared a 3-2 decision with a late flurry on Sunday night at Kendrick Family Ballpark.
