Argos Deal 2027 Pick for LS Simon Chaves

August 21, 2025 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts announced they have traded a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in exchange for LS Simon Chaves. Chaves was with the Argos during their 2025 training camp this past May, after playing one game for the team last season. He split time with Ottawa and Hamilton this season, playing six games for the REDBLACKS and two games for the Ticats before returning to Toronto. Argos to Play Select Home Games Away from BMO Field Next Summer During 2026 FIFA World Cup

August 15, 2025 - TORONTO - As Toronto welcomes the world to BMO Field next summer when the city plays host to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Toronto Argonauts' 2026 home schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the major event. BMO Field, which has been undergoing renovations for the biggest soccer event in the world since last November, will host several World Cup games during the first half of the Argonauts 2026 season. Argonauts Ink DB Willie Drew & FB Wilt Gabriel

August 12, 2025 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today that they have signed American DB Willie Drew and Canadian FB Wilt Gabriel. Drew, 6'0"/185lbs, played for the DC Defenders of the UFL this season, helping the team to a championship. The defensive back from Virginia was a late-season addition to the Argos in 2024 when he joined the practice roster in September, winning a Grey Cup with the team a month later.
