STORM NOTES
* Opening Night Win! Toledo continued its start of the season mastery with a 2-0 win over the Dayton Bombers on Opening night. Toledo has not lost on opening night game since falling to Trenton on October 13, 2000 (8-0). The last time Toledo blanked an opponent on opening night was October 22, 2004 defeating Wheeling 1-0 (Scott Fankhouser).
* Koopmans wonderful! Logan Koopmans turned aside 33 shots for his first shut out of the season, and the fourth of his professional career.
* Shooting Gallery! Although the Storm only registered two goals, Toledo did place 70 shots on goal in it's first two contests.
* Power Play Crazy! Toledo did not start score a power play goal through two games this weekend and has started the season 0-23 with the man advantage.
* Penalty Kill Domination! While Toledo's power play struggled, its penalty kill units did not. The Storm allowed just 2 power play goals over the weekend, and has stopped 17 of 19 on the season. STORM WATCH
* Gametime! Friday night Toledo returns home to start a weekend series against the Reading Royals. Toledo has an all-time record of 17-12-3 against the Royals. Last Year, the Storm were 6-0-0 against Reading at One Main Street.
* Storm Promotions! On Friday, October 27th the world famous Blues Brothers will be on hand performing for the crowd and signing autographs. Saturday, October 29th the Sports Arena will feel like the movie Slap Shot as the Hanson Brothers will be in Toledo signing autographs and performing at both intermissions.

Jamie Tardif (1 goal - 0 assists = 1 point)
Jamie made is professional debut a good one as he scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period.
STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:
Logan Koopmans (1-1-0, 1.99 GAA, 0.936 save%)
Logan started this season with his fourth professional shut out.
