BOMBERS NOTES

*New Faces in New Places! Out of the 21 players on the current roster, only six return from last season.

*The Penalty Killers! The Bombers killed off all 11 of Toledo's power plays in the season opener in Toledo on Friday night.

* The NHL Connection! The Bombers have three players on their roster that have been assigned by three separate NHL clubs, defenseman Lane Manson (Atlanta Thrashers), goaltender Adam Berkhoel (Buffalo Sabres) and forward Brent Walton (Columbus Blue Jackets).

* Bombs Away! The Bombers fired all night long at the Toledo net, out shooting the Storm 33-31 in their season opener last Friday in Toledo.

LOOK OUT BELOW

* On the Road Again! The Bombers begin the 2006-07 season with six out of their first seven games on the road. They will have played three road games (At Toledo October 20th, at Wheeling October 28th and at Cincinnati November 3rd), before their home opener on Saturday, November 4, vs. Florida at 7:00 p.m. They will then go back on the road for three more games (At Trenton November 10th and 11th, at Cincinnati November 16th) and have two weeks in between home games, before returning to the Nutter Center on Saturday, November 18, vs. Johnstown. .

* IMPORTANT WEEK AHEAD! Dayton returns to the ice this Saturday to take on the Wheeling Nailers in Wheeling, West Virginia at 7:30 p.m. Both teams will be looking for their first points of the season.

DROPPING DAYTON NOTES

- The Bombers will play back-to-back games for the first time this season in Cincinnati on Friday, November 3, then play their home opener vs. Florida on Saturday, November 4.
