Alaska Aces News Release

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces and the House of Harley Davidson & Buell will reveal a custom-designed 2007 Soft Tail motorcycle in Anchorage tomorrow, solidifying their 2006-07 partnership.

The bike, featuring a custom paint scheme created to commemorate the 2006 Kelly Cup championship, will be on display at the House of Harley on Spenard Road in Anchorage tomorrow. The 2006-07 Alaska Aces will be on hand at 4:00 p.m. to officially autograph the custom bike, which will be auctioned off in a special raffle at the end of the season. A limited quantity of 5,000 tickets have been made available, with pricing set at $20 per ticket.

The actual motorcycle will be on display at all Aces home games beginning this Friday night against Bakersfield at 7:15 p.m., then moved back to the House of Harley whenever the club plays on the road. The proceeds generated by the auction will support a 2007 Alaska Aces summer camp that will provide disadvantaged children with the opportunity to learn the game. Alaska also learned that its rookie winger, Ryan MacMurchy, who had two assists in his pro debut Friday, a 5-3 win over Victoria, has been called up by its AHL affiliate the Peoria Rivermen. MacMurchy will join Peoria in the midst of its six-game road trip, which continues Thursday in San Antonio at 10:00 p.m. ADT.

Alaska, currently tied for first atop the West Division with 2-0 Idaho after sweeping Victoria last weekend, and Bakersfield (1-2) hook up Friday and Saturday at Sullivan Arena, then travel to southern California for two more games against one another the following weekend at 6:00 p.m. ADT. Tickets are available at the Aces office, Sullivan Arena, www.alaskaaces.com, and all Fred Meyer locations in Anchorage. Fans also may call Ticketmaster at (907) 562-4800.
