Dayton, OH- Dayton Bombers Head Coach and General Manager Don MacAdam announced today that the Bombers will participate in a Habitat for Humanity project in Fairborn on Tuesday, October 24, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The Bombers will assist other local volunteers in completing a house at 2273 Hazelton Ave. for the Reynolds family of Dayton.
"Habitat for Humanity is one of the great organizations out there, they do so much for their communities and we are just thrilled to be a part of this project to help them in this small way," said MacAdam.
The Bombers will also be donating tickets to the Reynolds family for a regular season game. The Reynolds children will participate in the ceremonial puck drop at that same game.
"All of us here at Habitat feel very fortunate to have the Dayton Bombers join us in our mission of providing safe, descent, affordable housing to families in need," said Shawn Miller, manager of field operations for Dayton Habitat for Humanity. "The fact that they chose to spend this time with us in service to others during their busy hockey season shows true leadership in this community and should be an inspiration to us all."
Season tickets and advertising opportunities are available! Individual game tickets are on sale now. Opening Night is November 4th vs. Florida. For more information contact the Bombers office at 775-4747 or log on to www.daytonbombers.com.
