Titans Look To Bounce Back As They Hit The Road For Divisional Games

The Trenton Titans (6-3-2) finished last week at 1-1-1 during their three-game home stand. This week they have two road contests against Northeast Division opponents. On Friday, it's the second of 10 meetings against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (6-3-1) in the "Garden State Cup" series. The Bullies won the only meeting of the season 4-3 at Boardwalk Hall on October 25. Then on Saturday night the Titans travel to Richmond to face-off against the Renegades (6-5-0). The Titans are 2-1 against Richmond this season, but fell 5-3 last Friday night to the Renegades in Trenton.

Joseph and Schneider Lead The Way On The ‘Plus' Side:

Yann Joseph and David Schneider have had solid starts to the 2002-03 season and lead the club in plus/minus with a +7. Joseph netted his third goal of the season in Saturday night's overtime loss to Richmond, and now has seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) in nine contest this season. Schneider had a pair of assists in Wednesday night's 3-0 win vs. Wheeling, and another helper on Saturday. He now is tied for third on the team in assists with five. Last season, Schneider appeared in two games for the Titans notching an assist and five penalty minutes.

Yabba Davyduke; Rookies' Steady Play Continues:

Rookie center Kent Davyduke registered his second multiple point effort (1 goal, 1 assist) of the season last Friday night against Richmond. He now has registered a point in eight of the Titans' 11 games this season, and his 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) rank him second on the Titans and fourth in the ECHL in rookie scoring. Davyduke's five goals are tied for first on the team with Adam Edinger and Matt Zultek, and third among first-year ECHL players. Davyduke also scored the game-winning goal on October 20th in the Titans' 4-2 win vs. Reading.

The Big ‘Z' Making Impact:

Matt Zultek continues to put up key number for the Titans this season. His five goals are tied for first on the team, while his three power play goals and two game-winners lead in both categories. Zultek also has shown the physical side leading all Titans players with 64 penalty minutes. His nine points (5 goals, 4 assists) rank him third on the team in scoring.

Titans In The Community:

- On Wednesday, November 6, Titans' mascot Clash will be out at the Wrap Reception at Commerce Bank on Quakerbridge Road in West Windsor, NJ from 5:30 – 7 pm

- On Saturday, November 9, Clash will visit the Somerset Home for temporarily displaced children and participate in the 4th Annual "Run For Runaways" from 10 am – Noon.

Titans Holding Food Drive Throughout November:

The Titans are asking all fans to bring non-perishable food items to fill our hockey bags to fight hunger in the Trenton area. On Tuesday night November 12 when the Titans host Dayton on "Noisemaker Night", fans are asked to bring a box of macaroni and cheese to the game to make plenty of noise. Following the game, the boxes will be collected and donated for the food drive.

The Titans have set up an after hours Fan Hotline. Fans can now call the Titans' office (609) 599-9500 and press ‘4' to be directed to a message, which gives information of the last Titans' contest and previews of the upcoming games. It is available to fans after 5:30 pm, seven days a week.
