
Parillo Named ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Toledo rookie forward Nick Parillo is the InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week for October 28 to November 3.
The 25-year-old Parillo scored two goals and had five assists as Toledo went 2-0 improving to 8-1-1, the best record in the ECHL.
The 5-9 and 191-pound Parillo scored a goal and had two assists, including an assist on the game-winning goal, in Toledo's 5-2 win against Johnstown on Friday. He scored the game-winning goal, unassisted, and had three assists in a 7-4 win at Wheeling on Saturday.
A native of Schnechtedy, N.Y., Parillo leads Toledo with six goals and 14 points, and is tied for the team lead in assists (8), plus-minus (+10), power-play goals (2) and game-winning goals (2). Among ECHL rookies, Parillo is tied for the lead in game-winning goals while ranking second in scoring, tied for second in assists, and third in goals.
Undrafted out of Merrimack College, Parillo scored three goals in four games with Trenton in 2001-02 and also played in two games for Rochester in the American Hockey League.
On behalf of Nick Parillo, a case of pucks will be donated to a Toledo area youth hockey organization by InGlasCo, the official puck supplier of the ECHL.
