Nailers Encourage the Vote
November 4, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV â The Wheeling Nailers encourage all the Wheeling residents to vote tomorrow for the Wheeling Civic Center Bond renewal.
The Wheeling Civic Center is in desperate need of updates and repairs to bring the facility into the 21st century. The bond renewal does not represent an increase in taxes. The economic impact that the Wheeling Civic Center has on the community is great. On event nights, many downtown business benefit, as well as local parking venues. The Civic Center also provides part-time employment for Ohio Valley residents.
The Wheeling Civic Center is truly a community asset which, through its availability, provides many opportunities to enrich the cultural, educational, and recreational quality of life for the residents of the Ohio Valley.
Remember to vote "Yes" on Tuesday, November 5th.
All you gotta do is re-new...
The Wheeling Nailers next home game is Sunday, November 10th vs. the Cincinnati Cyclones. Face-Off 6pm.
For ticket information for all Nailers home games call the Nailers office at 234-4625 or toll free 1-877-NAIL-TIX.
