POSTGAME QUOTES

San Diego Gulls

Kalle Kossila

On the comeback and earning a point

I think we played really hard. We played hard and I'm really proud of what we did out there. Now it's good to get a couple day's break and come back with more energy.

On facing adversity

I think we've been improving lately, the last five or six games It's been better and better, especially five-on-five. I think special teams we can do a little better. I'm looking forward to this break and I think it will be good for us.

Head Coach Dallas Eakins

On the game

That's about as gritty and hard as we've played this year. Adversity is always good for anyone and we definitely experienced it tonight. It was such a great response on the bench the whole night. You can go and do a lot of team bonding things away from the ice, but that was about as good as an exercise right there tonight for team bonding.

On the team's resilience and scoring

They're competitiveness. You could see them narrow their brow and dig their heels in. It was a night where a lot of our guys were not going to be denied. I'm as proud of a team that I have been here in a long time.
