JAY LEACH, HEAD COACH
"I think we had some good spurts early on, but we also had some mistakes in that first period. Right from the start of the second period, we had a really strong push. I thought we did well for the majority of that period. Getting two shorthanded goals was a huge boost for us. We've done that when given the opportunity and it's really great.
"In the third, we did a really nice job. We knew they would push and we focused on the things we needed to do to close out the game, which got us the two points."
ZACH SENYSHYN - TWO ASSISTS
"I've just been trying to trust the process and know that the points will come when I do the right things. I've just focused on doing the right things from the D-zone all the way through the whole 200 feet.
"We have an offensively explosive team and there's a ton of skill in that room. I know that when we do the right things, we'll be successful.
"It's nice to see us put a couple wins on the board and hopefully we can just build off of that and keep rolling here."
