1/5/05 > Long Beach 3 @ Idaho 6

Going for their franchise record tying 11th straight game without a loss, the Ice Dogs streak finally ended with a 6-3 loss at the hands of the Idaho Steelheads. Despite leading 2-0 on goals by Bill Lindsay and Cory Urquhart, and again leading 3-2 with a goal by Evan Cheverie, Idaho scored four unanswered goals for the win. Riley Riddell of the Steelheads had his first career hat trick and Chris Madden made 36 saves in the loss.

1/7/05 > Long Beach 7 @ Idaho 2

The Ice Dogs got right back on track Friday night, scoring seven goals for their biggest offensive output thus far this season. They led 7-0 midway through the game, getting goals from Klyazmin, Rosa, Cheverie, Dunphy, Martz, Watson, and Spadafora. Cheverie also added two assists as did Urquhart. The Ice Dogs, who scored on their first four shots of the game, were 1-7 on the power play as Idaho went 2-8. Chris Madden earned the win, again making 36 saves.

1/8/05 > Long Beach 0 @ Idaho 5

One day after scoring their most number of goals this season, the Ice Dogs were blanked in the final game of their six game road trip. Long Beach was out-shot 35-19 for the game and were unable to get anything started offensively. Chris Madden made 29 saves in the loss and Frank Doyle got the shutout for the Steelheads.

This Weeks' Games:

1/12/05 > Long Beach vs. Victoria

The Victoria Salmon Kings come to town on Wednesday for their second trip to Long Beach this season. The Ice Dogs are 4-0-0 against Victoria, winning by a score of 2-1 at the Long Beach Arena back on November 10th.

1/14/05 > Long Beach vs. San Diego

The Ice Dogs will take on rival San Diego on Friday night. Long Beach beat San Diego 3-0 in the home opener on October 22nd, but lost in overtime on December 15th to make their record versus the Gulls 1-0-1 so far this season.

1/15/05 > Long Beach vs. Victoria

The Ice Dogs and Salmon Kings will play again on Saturday night as the Ice Dogs will be looking to build on the success they have had versus Victoria this season.

1/16/05 > Long Beach vs. Victoria

Long Beach and Victoria will wrap up their three game series on Sunday. The two teams will head up to Victoria next week to meet again.
