THE WEEK AHEAD
Tuesday, January 11th Inferno @ SC Stingrays N. Charleston Coliseum
The Inferno is 3-1-1 against the Stingrays this season and 18-7-2 overall. This is the sixth out of 10 meetings between these two teams this year. The Stingrays is in fifth place in the East Division with 31 points (14-14-3).
Friday, January 14th Inferno @ Augusta Lynx
This is the third meeting between the Lynx and Inferno. The Inferno is 1-1-0 this season and 13-9-3 overall. The Lynx is in sixth place in the East Division with 28 points (12-16-4).
Saturday, January 15th Inferno @ Florida Everblades
The Everblades is in second place in the South Division with 41 points (19-13-3). This is the second of six meeting between the Inferno and Everblades. The Inferno is 1-0-0 against the Everblades this season and 13-8-1 overall.

Tuesday, January 4th INFERNO 5 Florida 4
Bryson Busniuk scored a shorthanded goal with 2:53 left in the third period to give the Inferno the edge as they defeated the Florida Everblades 5-4. Walker McDonald netted a shorthanded goal at 18:26 of the first period to give Columbia a fast lead. Eric Boulton added his fourth goal of the season as he took a cross pass through the middle from Steve Burgess as the Inferno go up 2-0. Florida scored at 4:01 on a power play goal to bring them to within one. John Longo scored at 2:26 on a power play goal with help from Derek Eastman. After a scoreless second period, Florida scored two quick goals at 17:41 and 17:28 left on the clock to take a 4-3 lead. Boulton scored his second goal of the night to tie the game as he skated in on the net at 14:33. Burgess had his second assist of the game. Florida tied the game at 6:57 with a goal by Damian Surma. Busniuk scored the shorthanded game-winning goal with help from Burgess as he left the penalty box to give the Inferno their 16th win of the season as they improve their record to 16-8-3. Mike Minard was between the pipes for the Inferno and earned his 13th win of the season.
Friday, January 7th Inferno 2 CHARLOTTE 5
The Charlotte Checkers scored five unanswered goals as they extinguish the Inferno 5-2. Rory Rawlyk, Ryan Cuthbert and Joe Dustin each scored one goal for the Checkers and Mike Wirll added two. Andy Berg scored the first goal for the Inferno at 8:19 of the third period with assists to Chanse Fitzpatrick and Matt Ulwelling. Ulwelling scored his seventh goal of the season at 15:09 with help from Fitzpatrick as he netted Columbia's second and final goal. Mike Minard recorded his second lose of the season as he stopped 20 of 24 shots on goal. Rob McVicar started the 3rd period and stopped 8 of 9 shots on goal. The Checkers outshot the Inferno 33-32.
Saturday, January 8th INFERNO 4 Greenville 1
The Inferno bounce back from last night's lose as they beat the Grrrowl 4-1. Greenville scored their lone goal of the game at the 14:00 mark of the first period. The Inferno then scored four unanswered goals. D'Arcy McConvey scored his eighth goal of the season as he records an unassisted shorthanded goal at 6:04 of the second period to tie the game. Brad Ralph scored the game-winning goal at 1:05 into the third period on the power play. Derek Eastman and McConvey set him up. Bryson Busniuk added the insurance goal as he netted his 11th goal of the season at 8:14 with assists to Trevor Demmans and Chanse Fitzpatrick. At 17:38, Fitzpatrick scored with passes from Demmans and McConvey as the Inferno take the 4-1 win from the Grrrowl. The Inferno outshot the Grrrowl 21-to-15 and Rob McVicar earned his fourth win of the season (4-7-1) as he played in goal.
