3/10/04 > Long Beach 2 @ Idaho 3

Trying for their third consecutive win, the Ice Dogs fell short to the Steelheads, 3-2. Mark Gouett got Long Beach on the board first, but Idaho scored three straight goals to go up 3-1. Alex Kim brought the Ice Dogs to within one with under two minutes to play, but they were stopped short in the end. T.J. Aceti had 23 saves for Long Beach in the loss.

3/12/04 > Long Beach 1 @ Idaho 5

The Ice Dogs dropped their second straight game to Idaho Friday night, this time by a score of 5-1. The Steelheads scored just 9 seconds into the game to take the early lead. Martin Paquet scored the lone goal for Long Beach to make the score 2-1, but Idaho's three unanswered goals in the second period sealed the win. David Burleigh, making his first start as an Ice Dog, had 25 saves in the loss.

3/13/04 > Long Beach 3 @ Idaho 4 (OT)

The Ice Dogs took an early 3-0 lead in the game, but fell to the Steelheads 4-3 in overtime to wrap-up the three game series at 0-2-1. Nick Ganga, Darcy Johnson, and Mark Gouett each scored for Long Beach, and Alex Kim had two assists. But Idaho battled back with three unanswered goals, and scored the game winner just 36 seconds into the overtime period. T.J. Aceti had 23 saves for Long Beach.

3/14/04 > Long Beach 2 vs. San Diego 4

Long Beach fell to the San Diego Gulls 4-2, but had two goals disallowed in the process. The Ice Dogs got on the board first with a goal by Jerome Marois, but San Diego scored three straight to take a 3-1 lead. Nick Ganga brought it to 3-2 late in the second, but a third period power play goal by the Gulls was the back breaker. San Diego out-shot the weary Ice Dogs 40-14, with David Burleigh making 36 saves.

This Weeks' Games:

3/17/04 > Long Beach @ Fresno

The Ice Dogs will head up to Fresno on Wednesday to take on the Fresno Falcons. Long Beach is 4-3 against the Fresno this season, but 0-3 on the road. The Ice Dogs won the last meeting, 5-3, back on February 28th. This will be the final time this year that Long Beach will travel to Fresno.

3/19/04 > Long Beach @ Bakersfield

The Ice Dogs and Condors will face-off in Bakersfield Friday night in the first game of a home-and-home series. Long Beach won the last meeting in Bakersfield 7-4 back on March 7th, their highest offensive output all year. The Ice Dogs are 5-3 versus the Condors this season.

3/20/04 > Long Beach vs. Bakersfield

Saturday night will be the second game of the home-and-home series between the Long Beach Ice Dogs and Bakersfield Condors. Long Beach is 2-1 against Bakersfield at home this season and currently trail them by three points for fifth place in the Pacific Division.

3/21/04 > Long Beach vs. Las Vegas

The Ice Dogs will play their fourth game in five nights on Sunday when they take on the Las Vegas Wranglers. It will be the final meeting of the year between the two teams. The Ice Dogs are 1-6 against the Wranglers this season, and 0-3 at home.

OVERALL RECORD: 21-35-5
