The Condors put up 19 shots on goal in the first period and 37 for the game, but Vegas netminder Marc Magliarditi was the difference in a 6-2 loss to the visiting Wranglers. Magliarditi stopped 18 shots in the opening frame and 35 on the night and the Wranglers broke open for three goals in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie and take the lead for good. Paul Rosebush and Johan Astrom scored for Bakersfield.

The night belonged to Paul Rosebush, despite a 5-4 outcome in a shootout in favor of Las Vegas. Rosebush's goal in the first period tied the game and gave him 100 in his Condors career. He finished the night with a hat trick and an assist on the game-tying goal with just 1:33 remaining. That tally by Todd Alexander erased a two-goal third period deficit and earned a point for Bakersfield. Rosebush was the lone scorer in the shootout, while a pair of Wranglers lit the lamp to take the win.

Notes from the Nest
· Paul Rosebush became the third player in a Condors sweater, and fourth in Bakersfield history, to record 100 goals. Most of Steve Dowhy's 164 goals (124 of them) came as a member of the Bakersfield Fog. Jamie Cooke (143) and Paul Willett (130) are the others.
· Bakersfield is 0-6-2 against the Las Vegas Wranglers this season. Last season, their worst record against any team was 5-8-1 against the Idaho Steelheads.
· Rookie Jon Mirasty, who leads all ECHL rookies in penalty minutes and major penalties, surpassed 300 PIM for the year on Friday. He's only the third player in the nine-year history of hockey in Bakersfield to reach 300 PIM in one season. The record is 350, set by Rhett Trombley in 1999-2000.
· The Alaska Aces need just one point gained on Bakersfield, or lost by Bakersfield, to be the fourth and final team to officially clinch a post season berth in the Pacific Division. The Condors trail the Aces by 18 points with nine games remaining.
